How to Use These Worksheets

To use these scissor practice sheets, simply print out each page and cut out along the outer lines of Santa’s head (hat, beard and all). This can be done by an adult or by your child, if they are old enough.

Next, have your child cut along the dotted lines inside Santa’s beard using plastic safety scissors or blunt tip metal scissors (whichever is more appropriate for your child’s level of development). For added fun, they can even color in the picture either before or after they practice cutting!

Printing Instructions

After you download all the PDF files to your computer, simply print each page on a separate sheet US Letter-sized paper (8.5 x 11 inches) for your child to use. If you wish to print the pages on A4 paper, you can use the “Scale to Fit” setting on your printer to ensure that none of the printable area is being cut off.
