For the past several years, our family has had a tradition.
On Christmas day, we have an open door policy when it comes to family. In the morning, we prepare waffles, and any relative who wishes to have brunch at our house and watch the kids open their gifts is welcome to do so.
If they’re only available later in the day, that’s fine, too—supper happens around 5 PM.
It’s been really nice being able to see the whole family on Christmas Day. And since we have four young kids, it’s more practical for us to host rather than try to drag all our kids out of the house.
But of course, hosting involves a lot of cleaning and cooking. So it helps to have some low-prep Christmas activity pages to print out in order to keep the kids busy while we get ready!
