Printing Instructions

Once you have downloaded the coloring pages to your computer, simply print the ones you need on US Letter-sized paper (8.5 x 11 inches) and hand them over to your child so they can color them in.

These coloring sheets were designed to be printed in US Letter format, but if you wish to print them on A4 paper, you can do so by adjusting the “Scale to Fit” setting on your printer to ensure that none of the printable area is being cut off.

How to Make This Printable Reusable

Want to reuse these coloring pages again and again? Make them reusable by laminating them with a thermal laminator or self-laminating sheets, or by placing each page inside a separate plastic page protector or dry erase pocket.

Coloring sheets that have been protected with plastic can be colored in with washable markers or paint, then wiped clean and stored for future use. (I recommend sticking with washable markers or washable kids’ paint to make the cleanup easier.)

More Ways to Celebrate World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day is the perfect day to spread kindness and do good deeds (though of course, kindness should be promoted year-round and not saved for a single day of the year!). If you’re looking for more ways to celebrate with your child, consider some of these activities:

  • Do some volunteering together or donate food, clothing, toys or other items that might help those in need
  • Start a kindness journal, and write down or draw any acts of kindness you’ve given or received
  • Draw a smiley face on a ball, then pass the ball around while playing music—when the music stops, the person who is holding the ball has to say something kind to other members of the group!
  • Make this Thankful Tree Craft, but instead of writing down things you’re thankful for, write each act of kindness you perform on a leaf and slowly add them to the tree over time
  • Read books or sing songs about kindness
  • Write kind messages on Post-Its and place them around your home or school to brighten someone’s day
  • Write thank-you notes to people who have been kind to you
  • Start a kindness jar by placing a pom-pom inside a jar every time someone performs a kind act, then seeing how long it takes to fill the jar
