This cute toilet paper roll mummy is perfect for days when you’re running low on supplies! It is easy to make, perfect for both younger and older kids, and only requires a few simple materials that you probably already have at home.
1toilet paper roll (or 1 paper towel roll, cut to the appropriate length)
liquid school glue
2googly eyes
1pairscissors
1sheetwhite tissue paperlarge format if possible
Instructions
Using liquid school glue, glue two googly eyes about an inch from the top of an empty toilet paper roll.
Use sharp scissors to cut the sheet of tissue paper into long strips of about ½ inch to 1 inch in width.
Add a bit of liquid glue to one end of a strip of tissue paper, then add a few small dots of glue all around the toilet paper roll to help keep the tissue paper in place as your wrap it around.
Press the glue-covered end of the tissue paper onto the toilet paper roll, then slowly wrap the tissue paper around the roll, making sure to gently press down onto the dots of glue to help the tissue paper stay in place. Continue wrapping it around, leaving some space around the googly eyes and adding more glue as needed, until the paper roll is completely covered in tissue paper. Finish off the craft by adding a bit of glue to the end of the last strip of tissue paper and pressing it onto the mummy to hold it in place.

Notes
1. Tissue paper alternatives: The tissue paper can be replaced with strips of toilet paper, paper towel or gauze.2. Helpful tips:
Use different googly eyes: For added quirkiness, use two different-sized googly eyes for the mummy (7 mm and 10 mm work well).
Keep adding glue: Keep adding small dots of glue all over the toilet paper roll as you wrap it in tissue paper, in order to help the tissue paper stay in place.
Fold the tissue paper: Fold the tissue paper unevenly as you wrap it around the toilet paper roll.
Reveal the mummy's eyes: If needed, tuck the tissue paper into itself to avoid covering the mummy's eyes.
