Choose a few colours of tissue paper, then use scissors to cut the tissue paper into small squares

Place the first page of the template inside a sheet protector and cover one side of the sheet protector with Mod Podge

Gently press squares of tissue paper onto the Mod Podge until the entire surface of the butterfly wings is fully covered

Add an additional layer of Mod Podge, making sure that all the tissue paper is completely covered with it

Let your handiwork rest until all the Mod Podge has finished drying

Using the template inside the sheet protector to guide you, cut the sheet protector into the shape of wings

Print the second page of the template on black cardstock and cut it into the shape of the butterfly's body

Use liquid glue to assemble the butterfly suncatcher, placing the wings in between the two body shapes

Let your suncatcher rest for a bit to give the school glue a chance to dry

Use adhesive tape to stick the suncatcher to your window and watch the sun shine through it throughout the day!
